He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his sons, Gary (Heidi Sohler), Ray (Janel Sohler) and Lyle Sohler of North Plains; his son-in-law Bob Ryan of Forest Grove; his sister Barbara Rose; his grandchildren, Robert, Ami, Nicky, Chelsea, Ben, Rebecca and Elizabeth; and his great grandchild Ellie.

A burial was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St Edward Catholic Cemetery (10990 NW 313th Ave, North Plains, OR 97133). Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Parish Hall (4285 NW Visitation Rd, Forest Grove, OR 97116).
