The memory of Kathleen J. Rueth (Nyssa, Oregon), who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim O'Brien and Lila Boyer O'Brien; her husband Herb of Anthony's Catholic Church; her brothers, Richard and Jim O'Brien (Pat); her daughter-in-law Anita Rueth; her grandsons, Craig Rueth and Dustin Chant; her in-laws, Leo and Agnes Rueth; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy O'Brien, Bernard "Bun" Rueth (Marjorie), Edward "Eddie" Rueth (Florence), Patrick Rueth (Carol), Mary Ann Gleichsner (Frank), Jayne Kolbeck (Lavern), Joseph and John Rueth.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Rueth (Brenda), Gerald Rueth, Shelia Keith (Randy), Sharon Rueth, Randall Rueth (Jackie), Douglas Rueth (Sandy), Fredrick Rueth, Raymond Rueth (Vickie), Norman Rueth (Jody) and Shelby Koplin (Clint); her siblings, Wayne O'Brien, Pat Lindner (Bill), Ron O'Brien (Kay) and Rebecca O'Brien; and her friends, Lorie Weilmunster, Geri Peterson, Anona Shupe, Vicki Mason and Carmela Ramirez. She is also survived by Her children also brought her 22 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Bridget of Kildare Catholic Church (504 Locust Ave, Nyssa, OR 97913). A rosary will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Parma Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Bridget of Kildare in Nyssa, OR.
