He is survived by: his wife Blanca Rodriguez; his children, Ramon Jr. (Julia) and Perla; his grandchildren, Tristan (Corina), Joel, Julian, Jerry, Nico and Xochitl (Ailyn); his great grandchild Belén; his siblings, George Rodriguez (Lupe), Raymundo Rodriguez (Delia), Concepción Flores (late Manuel) and Aurora Banda (Juan); and his half-siblings, Ernesto, Eva, Norma, Elsa and Mela. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
