He was predeceased by : his father Ronald Rogers, MD; and his grandparents, Frank and Betty Scanlon. He is survived by : his mother Rosemary Rogers; his siblings, Aimee Rogers, MD, Ronald Rogers, Jr., Susan Linton, Rebecca Rice and David Rogers; his uncle Frank Scanlon; his aunt Nobuko; and his cousins, Frank Akio Scanlon, Fumika Harrison and Kilara Scanlon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association.
