With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garnet Olson of Pendleton, Oregon, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Garnet leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Fannin and Ada Fannin (Funk); and her sister Marina. She is survived by: her husband Mike Olson; her stepsons, Billy and Matt; her brother Chuck Fannin (Lisa); and her nieces and nephews, Tiffany Lund (Jesse), Kenny Fannin (Megan), Travis Fannin (Rachel), Krystal Flores (Brock) and Sarah "Sadie" Bastian (Chris). She is also survived by grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pendleton Church of Jesus Christ of Latter (609 NW 12th St, Pendleton, OR 97801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
