We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2023, at the age of 96, Hilda E. Blair (Pendleton, Oregon), born in Norton, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Reverand James Dresden McDaniel and Hilda Ruth Davis McDaniel; her spouse Thomas Eugene Blair; her daughter Barbara Jo; and her siblings, Rex McDaniel, Wanda Morris and Joan Hutton.

She is survived by : her sons-in-law, Tyko Groves and Marc Schlotthauer; her great grandchild Blair Emery Cleaver; and her children, Douglas (Susan Blair), Debara (Wesley Cleaver), Gordon (Connie Blair), Elizabeth (John Reynolds), Jeffrey Blair and Sally Farrow. She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

“I am so sorry for your loss Hilda was one of a kind classy sassy and a little bit smart assy I came back to Pendleton to take care of my dad and shortly after I met Hilda and went to work for her cleaning her house every week we had we made a lot of good memories she will definitely be missed by me see you on the other side Hilda and tell Dad I'm doing okay”
