He is survived by: his wife Caroline; and his children, Maria Haaby of Terrebonne, OR, Dale La Fon (Lori) of Wendell, Stephen La Fon (Kathy) of Springfield, OR and Matthew La Fon (Brooke) of Wasilla, Alaska. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
