It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amalia Aivalioti Gianopoulos (Portland, Oregon), who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Efstratios Aivaliotis and Hariklia Aivaliotis; her siblings, Eleni, Elias, Loukas, Anastasios (Tasos), Dimitris and Maria Aivalioti-Karkoula; her husband Anthony Gianopoulos; her children, Nicholas (Dimitra), Helen (Denny) and Michael (Nannette); her grandchildren, Napoleon, Anthony (Randa), Spiro (Kevin), Katerina, JoeAnne, Jonathan and Thomas; and her nieces and nephews, Kathy, Steve, Julie, Teresa, Anthony (Amy), Peter, Alexis and Philip.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Amalia's memory to Philoptochos and/or the Holy Trinity Greek Dance Program (Portland, OR).
