She was predeceased by: her parents, Leeland Maize and Theresa Maize (West); her stepmother Phyllis; and her stepsister Sue. She is survived by: her husband Frederick Shattuck; her children, Heather Khounnouvong (Peter), David Hall and James Hall (Mary); her grandchildren, Adasyn, Gideon, Harper and Leeland; her brother Philip Maize; and her stepbrothers, Christopher, Kevin and Erik. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
