He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Margaret Briggs and Robert Lewis Jr.; and his uncles, Donald Briggs, Allan Briggs, Bruce Briggs and Robert Lewis III.

He is survived by: his parents, Ross Briggs and Ann Briggs; his sister Erin Peterson; his brother-in-law Ryan Peterson; his grandmother Marie Lewis; and his uncle Dan Lewis.
