He was predeceased by: his father Doug Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Faye Nelson; his wife Kristy Nelson; his daughter Elizabeth Nelson; his brother Jim Nelson; and his brother-in-law Richard Lapin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pacific Northwest Bleeding Disorders-Oregon Chapter and Doctors Without Borders, in honor of Cliff's lifelong dedication to justice and public health.
