He was predeceased by: his father Charles LaVerne Birchmier of Marion, Iowa.; his uncle Lorval Birchmier of Gresham; and also Charlene Gates Birchmier. He is survived by: his sisters, Vonda Birchmier and Evone Vognsen (Dave) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.; his nephew Joshua Vognsen (Dani) of Mount Prospect; and his niece Maria Walsh (Brant) of Shakopee.
Memorial gifts may be given to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) in honor of his Father or to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of his mother.
