He is survived by: his son Erich Joel Nordling; his sister Nancy Esteb (Nordling); and his children, John Nordling (Sara), Olaf Nordling (Christine), Kirsten Birner (Paul), Sonja Nordling, Stephanie Brandt (Phillip) and Philip Nordling (Heidi). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
