She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Burch, Jr. and Mattie Alexander; her husband Elbert; her sisters, Inez and Gladys; and her son Vassie Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Adams of Portland, Oregon; and her brother MacArthur Burch of Louann Arkansas. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Willamette National Cemetery (11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086).
