He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Mock and Florence Mock; his wife Agnes Dessel; and his children, Steve (Sandy), Randy (Cathy), Gail (Charlie), Lynne and Kathy.
A highlight of his time on the track team was receiving a personal letter from Bill Bowerman, which expressed his gratitude for Jerry's contributions to the team.
