Ida Anderson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ida Anderson (Portland, Oregon), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Floyd Cole and Mary Jane Oehler Cole; her husband William "Andy" James Anderson; her grandparents, Oreos, Saturn and Caralea (Ryan); her siblings, Jesse C. Cole and Neva Flood; her son William J. Anderson Jr.; her grandson Ryan G. Sanders; and her grandmother Ida Faye Anderson Passed.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Harriott (James) of Shalimar, Sandra Sanders of Saint Helens, Michael Anderson of Waynesville, Walter Anderson (Kelli) of Williams, John Anderson of Portland, David Anderson of Portland and Kenneth Anderson (Ali) of Portland; and her siblings, R. Louise McBee and David Cole (Barbara). She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 2 Step-Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Step-Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ross Hollywood Chapel (4733 NE Thompson St, Portland, OR 97213). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (2727 NE 54th Ave, Portland, OR 97213).
