He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Burrell and Arneeda N. Giles-Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Leon, Cilicia and Jared; his grandchildren, DeShaun, Octavia, Ashyia, Nahshon and Jabari; his great grandchildren, Amoni, Nyia, Ari, Dalon, Ryder and RaMelo; and his brother Carl.

Viewing was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Terry Family Funeral Home (2337 N Williams Ave, Portland, OR 97227). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (2930 NE 102nd Ave, Portland, OR 97220).
