He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Nelson and Eva Nelson. He is survived by: his son Jeff; his wife Betty; his daughter-in-law Patty; his granddaughters, Emily Druyos (Tim) and Morgan Nelson; his great grandchild Graham Druyos; his sister Beth Newton; and his niece Ann Newton.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Ross Hollywood Chapel (4733 NE Thompson St, Portland, OR 97213).
