He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman J. Thrower, Sr. and Edith E. Thrower; and his siblings, Mildred Norwood, Jo Ann Childs, Jean Scott and Herman J. Thrower, Jr..
He is survived by: his brother George R. Thrower, Sr.. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, extended family.
Viewing was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Terry Family Funeral Home (2337 N Williams Ave, Portland, OR 97227). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Allen Temple Cme Church (4236 NE 8th Ave, Portland, OR 97211). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the River View Cemetery (300 S Taylors Ferry Rd, Portland, OR 97219).
