The memory of Richard Lee Kavanagh (Portland, Oregon), who passed away on December 2, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Richard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Kavanagh and Louise Kavanagh; his wife Marlene Kohl; and his sons, Ken, Mike, Little League and Babe Ruth. He was also cherished by his two sons and their wives, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, five nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Park & Funeral Home (11801 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086).
