We announce the death of Theresa Josephine Byrne Thomas of Portland, Oregon, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 95. Theresa will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Theresa’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Byrne and Josephine Byrne. She is survived by: her daughter Agnes (Gregory). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and loved by any nieces and nephews.
A committal service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Willamette National Cemetery (11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
