He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Urry and Jessie Russell Urry (Jarvie). He is survived by: his wife May (May); his daughters, Jane (Colleen), Ruth (Norman) and Lorna (Robert); his grandchildren, Taryn, Tommy, Russell, Sasha and Naomi; and his brother Paul (Muriel).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in his memory to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
