He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth James. He is survived by: his mother Patricia James (Anderson); his former wife Anissa; his daughter Charissa Hoots (Mary); his grandchildren, Jaxon DeFabis and Keirin Oles; and his siblings, Deborah Diehm, Michael Ames (Janice), James Ames (Connie) and Chris James. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Oregon Humane Society.
