He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Scovell and Myrtle Scovell (McDonough). He is survived by: his children, Lindy (Irene Scovell) and Karen (David DeVault) of Nehalem, Oregon.; and his grandchildren, Heather Thompson of Tillamook, Clint Scovell of Jefferson, Chad DeVault of Beaverton and Amy Smith of Carbondale. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
