He was predeceased by: his parents, Ganem Cartwright and Alice Cartwright (Hinz); and his brothers, Gary, Skip, Butch and Gene.
He is survived by: his wife Penny; his siblings, Audry, Alta, Allie, April, Jerry and Grant; his stepsons, Kelly and Kasey; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Stasey and Taylor.
