She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Russell and Irvin Russell; her brother Joseph Russell; her grandsons, Stuart and Damon Grindstaff; her daughter Valerie Barber Mallory; and her brother Joe Russell.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Barber; her children, Jodie Weaver and Michael Barber; her grandchildren, Elyana, Andrew Weaver, Piper Grindstaff and Jessica Grindstaff Bryant; her great grandchild Adeline Bryant; and her siblings, Bonnie Capron, Jainie Anderson and Clifford "Butch" Russell.
