She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Schafer and Frances Ponke Schafer; and her sisters, Carla and Pamela. She is survived by: her husband Kermit; her children, Wendy (Spencer), Jennifer (Josh) and Jason (Casey); her grandchildren, Faith, Riley, Ryann, Tyler and Owen; and her siblings, Renee (Robin) and Bryan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
A Mass was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at the Our Divine Savior Catholic Church (566 E Lassen Ave, Chico, CA 95973).
