He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Baker and Nora Baker; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Baker (Donna), Frances "Pink" Smiley (Bob), Roger "Bud" Baker and Daniel "Dan" Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Sally [Brown]; his sons, Jeff of Comstock Park, MI and Judd (Tracey) of Roseburg, OR.; his sisters-in-law, Diane and Carole; and also Dave. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to consider donations to the Rockford Museum or the Rockford United Methodist Church in Dave's name.
