He was predeceased by: his parents, John Woodman and Mavis Woodman; and his grandparents, Ronald, Ellen Woodman, Walter and Bertha Reed.
He is survived by: his son John Warner Woodman, III (Terri); his wife Sue; and his siblings, Ron (Iva Dell), Merry Hoyt (Nick) and Steve (Glynnis). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
