He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo E. Padilla (Tuffy) and Adelina Padilla (Olona); his wife Maureen Mullins; and his siblings, Gloria, Alfred, Ofelio, Phyllis, Martha, Robert and Margaret.
He is survived by: his son Stephen (Judi) of Fort Davis; and his grandchildren, Tori, Krissi, Jessie, Eli and Drew (Kendra) of San Francisco, California. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
