He was predeceased by: his brother Frank Ross; and his stepsister Theresa Klima. He is survived by: his wife Daishau Ross (Barker); his children, Ivy, Oliver and Elliana; his mother Sarah "Sally" DeCou (Sally); his stepparents, Dave DeCou and Julia "Jakey" Ross; his sister Kelli Ross; his stepsisters, Kristin DeCou (Keith O'Neil), Sachi DeCou (Sven Duzont), Laurel DeCou (Jaime Goldman) and Tamara Montgomery (Teman Montgomery); his sister-in-law Carly Kowalski (Eric Kowalski); his father James Potter Ross; Lux. He is also survived by his two step-nieces and five step-nephews, as well as a vast circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends he called his family.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Champoeg State Park (8239 Champoeg Rd NE, St Paul, OR 97137). When the pandemic arrived, they reworked their lives side-by-side.
