She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther James and Violet Miley (Sell); her siblings, Zola, Bud, Marty, Margie, Bill and Gracie; her husband Lawrence Chytka (Lawrence); her son Dan; and her son-in-law Kenny Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie "Val" Schmidt, Richard "Rick" Chytka (Amber), Timothy "Tim" Chytka (Cyndi) and Mary McTavish (Terry). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Stayton Christian Church (189 E Washington St, Stayton, OR 97383).
