He is survived by: his wife Leelamma James; his children, Lisa C. James and Jaison C. James; his son-in-law Daemion Largess Lee; his grandson Manu James Lee; and his sisters, Mary Tomy, Albeena F. C. C., C. J. Augustine (Joy), Gracy Baby and Lilykutty Chackochen.
