He was predeceased by : his parents, Grace Marie King Wessel and Philip Andrew Wessel; his siblings, Marjorie Hanson of Salem and Duane Wessel of Lincoln, NE; his sons, Michael Manley of Portland and Daniel Graham of Anchorage, AK; his granddaughter Jenni Pointer Everetts of Turner, OR; and his great grandchild Rex Pointer of Longview, WA..

He is survived by : his wife Donna Jean McElravy of Salem; his sister Norma Jean Highberger of Salem; his daughter Sharon; his son-in-law James Pointer of Monmouth, OR; his sons, Patrick Manley of Salem and Jeff Obert; and his daughter-in-law Kim McBryde of Albany, OR.. He is also survived by Five grandchildren; several great-grandsons and 1 great-great grandson.
