She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Evans and Marcus Etchart; her grandmother Marguerite Sanzberro; and her son Michael Hightower. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Wilson; her children, Sherrie Gillis, David Wilson, Jill Loewen, Rodger Loewen and Marguerite Metully; and her grandchildren, Christopher Hightower, Johnny Weigle, Loren Wilson, Katherine Robinson, Jacqueline Lane, Tracy Haas, Sean Metully and Noelle Metully. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Charitable contributions can be made to Oregon Humane Society where she had volunteered.
