He was predeceased by: his wife Esther; his parents, Robert Mills and Anna Mills; and his brother Robert, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Lois Wellsfry (David) of Sequim, WA, Mary Pruitt (Craig) of Salem, OR, Catherine Hewett (Gary) of Smyrna, TN and Dan Mills of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Capital Manor Foundation.
