“Leo was an inspiration to me as I grew up, more like my big brother filling a void when my own brother was out of my life for so many years. We both attended the same High School and National Guard unit, albeit years apart. I looked up to him because he loved and married my big sister (sharing 50 years prior to her passing), he was a role model being a good husband and father. Leo and I enjoyed a special friendship, and I enjoyed having his support and understanding.”
