He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie "Abe" Clifton Hauptmann and Evelyn Blanche McKay; and his siblings, Betty Dietz, Joyce Key, Artie Haury and David Hauptmann.
He is survived by: his children, Mandi Hauptmann, Matthew Hauptmann and Rachel Hauptmann; his granddaughter Olivia; and his former wife Leeza Hauptmann.
