He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Paul Barnwell, Sr. and Marie S. Polzel Barnwell; his children, Cathy Sue Bashford and Jerry Lee Cross; his brother Lanny Dean Barnwell; his grandchild Shannon Marie Bashford; and his great grandchildren, Kelby Satrum Mengucci and Addy Delila Mengucci.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Louise Clark Barnwell; his children, Brenda Charter of Oregon, Janet Cross Moravek of Inez, Texas and Robert C. Mengucci-Barnwell of Silverton, Oregon; and his brothers, John Barnwell of Georgia and Greg Barnwell of Oregon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
