With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Marston Murphy of Salem, Oregon, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ronald leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Ronald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Murphy and Mildred Murphy; his daughter Lesley Joy; and his siblings, Dick, Loyce Stepper, Harold and Marcella Davidson.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Murphy; and his children, Rodger (Hao) of Murrieta, California, Carol Baynes (Lew) of Joseph, Oregon and Jill (Larry Wolske) of Salem, Oregon. He is also survived by thirteen Grandchildren; and 29 great-Grandchildren.
