He is survived by: his children, Pat Shaver (Rachael) of Prineville, OR, Dale Shaver (Karen) of Rozet, WY, Janice McKay (Mac) of Salem, OR, Mary Sproul (Bill) of Dundee, OR and Debi Sipes (John) of Blaine, WA; and his sister Wanda Shaver of Molalla, OR. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren plus one great-great grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bateman Funeral Home (915 NE Yaquina Heights Dr, Newport, OR 97365). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Eureka Cemetery (1101 NE Yaquina Heights Dr, Newport, OR 97365).
