He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas W. Ellis Sr. and Lorna Ellis; his siblings, John Ellis and Rosemary Robertson; and his great grandchild John Hull.

He is survived by : his wife Beverly; his children, Vera Sims and Troy; his daughter-in-law Sandy Ellis; his grandchildren, Kortnie Dicker, Devin Ellis, Troy Ellis Jr., Kylie Sims, Jeffrey Sims, Blaik Peruchetti and Max Peruchetti; and his great grandchildren, Ellie Hull and Skye Dicker.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (590 Elma Ave SE, Salem, OR 97317).

The family welcomes memorial contributions to Agape Hospice NW or the food bank at Trinity United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
