She was predeceased by : her father Willard; her son Stephen Vass; her husband Bill Werther; her sister Billie Cardillo; and her stepdaughter Janet Griffin.

She is survived by : her children, Barbara Vass (Mike Saksa) and Bill Vass (Anna Zell); and her stepchildren, Bob (Mary Lynn), Jim Werther (Becky) and Nancy Stanton (Luke). She is also survived by two grandchildren, twelve step-grandchildren, and several step-great-grandchildren.
