It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joy Elizabeth Vogel of Sandy, Oregon, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2022, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by : her parents, Fred Vogel and Maryglenn Vogel of Sandy; her siblings, Matt Vogel (Daina Jauntirāns) of Evanston, Ill., Mike Vogel (Sara) of Portland, Jon Vogel (Monica) of Portland and Melody Burton (Jason) of Gresham; and her nieces and nephews, Zinta, Indra, Alex, Natalie, Julia, Hank and Herta.
In lieu of flowers, Joy's family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at https://www.alz.org Joy supported this non-profit throughout her life with the hope of finding a cure for the disease that impacted so many of the people she served through her work in elder care.
