He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Rall and Sara Rall (Kleinsasser); his son David Rall of Milwaukie; and his stepson Michael Ryan of Los Angeles, California.. He is survived by: his former wife Vivian; his adoptive son Michael Ryan (Ronnie); his son-in-law John; his daughter Regena Knapp; and his siblings, Ted (Rapid City), Sara Kuntz (Drake), Adaline Lautt, Sharline Godfrey and Mary Rall.
His contributions to the church community included building entrance ramps for people who came to need them.
