He was predeceased by : his parents, William John and Anita Larsen Burgener; his former life partner LaRee; his daughter Cindy; his grandson Brandon Hill; and his stepson Shane Forsgren.

He is survived by : his wife Betty; his children, Valyn Hill (Bryce), Alane Morley (Rick), Kelly Burgener (Elizabeth) and Gerry Burgener (Dana); and his stepson Chris Forsgren.
