With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Dean Elder of Scappoose, Oregon, born in Saint Helens, Oregon, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, David Dean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David Dean farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Elder and Betty Elder; his wife Susie Elder (Hutton); and his sister Lynda Sinner. He is survived by: his children, Parker Elder and Jennifer Beckstrom (Elder); his son-in-law Erik Beckstrom; his grandson Lane Beckstrom; his sister Susan Reynolds (Elder); and his brother-in-law Steven Reynolds.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Columbia Memorial Gardens (54490 Columbia River Hwy, Scappoose, OR 97056).
