He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hix and Ruthie Hix (Richardson); and his siblings, Diane Hix and Wayne Hix. He is survived by: his wife Jane Anne Hix of Seaside, OR; his children, Tim Hix (Zoila) of Shelbyville, Ian Hix, Hunter Hix (Melody) and Melissa Hix of Seaside, OR; his grandchildren, Luis Dubon of New York, Autumn Hix and Archer Hix; and his siblings, Vicky Ellis (Jeff) of Gainesboro, Donnie Hix (Martha), Lonnie Hix (Lavonda) and Tony "Barney" Hix.
Family requests memorials be made assist the family with funeral expenses.
