She was predeceased by: her parents, James (Ruby Griffin) and Edith; her husband Clark; and her brothers, James, Ron and Art.

She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Therkildsen and Richard Halsted; her grandchildren, Russell, Allie, Joshua and Mariyn; her daughter-in-law Kellie; and her sisters, Mary, Iris and Margie.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Oregon Commision to the Blind, a cause close to Edith's heart.
