She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gates and Bessie Gates; her husband Tom Sloan; and her son Joe Sloan. She is survived by: her children, Steve Sloan (Nicole) and Cynthia Sloan; her grandchildren, Kelly Maddux (Sloan), Joel Sloan (Amanda) and Elijah Sloan; and her great grandchild Weston Sloan. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Silverton Senior Center (115 Westfield St, Silverton, OR 97381).
